Katrina McHyde You walk right up and address fear. Sometimes I’ll say “I’m scared” and proceed to walk myself out if it, so I thought your intro was surprising and to the point. Your book is fluid and full of potential, actually like you were right there, in thoughtful conversational style.

 More words from readers

Turning fear into faith from Katrina McHyde is a most encouraging book. Katrina writes like how she is. This means that her writing is fresh and authentic.

The conversations she expresses between the ‘Me’ and ‘Myself’,  and then with God shows pretty much how the process inwardly is taking place.

Ignoring fear won't help as much as confronting  a born again-Christian with the verse from 2.Tim 1:7. “For God hath not given us the spirit of fear; but of power, and of love, and of a sound mind.” It’s the truth.

And together with the five-step process it is the key in getting rid of that "fear-monster". The technique explained at the end of that booklet is the practical part of it, also for stepping into deeper faith in a wonderful great God, who wants us to be whole.

Katrina, I just had time to complete your ebook. Congratulations on your accomplishment!! I appreciate the internal refocusing techniques (and I use a slightly modified form of that myself) when dealing with the unknown. My mother used to say "Fear is a tool of the Devil." For whatever reason, that stuck with me and I very rarely find myself commiserating with fear... even when faced with situations that call for a little healthy fear. What I have told my children regarding fear is that fear can be informative, but it should never be instructional. I am hoping someday to practice that myself and let it at least inform me.

Your ebook is a good read for those facing fear and feelings of hopelessness. I hope everyone who needs it gets a chance to read it.
